good afternoon friend
Create a video or better detail the creation of accounts and all the aw3 settings, for those who have little knowledge in amazon the documentation is insufficient as it only shows the path but does not detail the step by step. Thank you for understanding this.
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback, I’ll look into it! Were you able to get it setup or do you still need assistance? If so then feel free to send me a message at support@proxibolt.com and I’ll walk you through the steps.
module not working to me, files stuc at: “External storage plugin installed, start sending the file to external storage..” i check endpoint its with https:// also key and secret also double checked its ok
after upload nothing happens….
I’ve replied to your ticket.
What do the two new features “path style” and “part size” do?
Ah OK. Path style is for when the cloud storage doesn’t support virtual host.
And is it safe to leave the part size as it is?
Hi,
You’re correct about the path style option. The part size is the size of chunks that is sent to your S3 provider. Some only support a specific range so this option allows you to change that. The preset value should work for nearly all providers.

I’ve replied to your ticket.
Can i use custom domain?
Hi,
Thank you for your interest. You can specify custom endpoint urls of the S3 API. So if you’re hosting your own S3 API then you can specify your own domain. If you’re planning on using an AWS S3 bucket with custom domain using a CNAME record then this is currently not fully supported by the S3 add-on.
I hope this answers your question!
Hello, Working on PHP 7.4 but not 8.1? Please Advise Thank You! - Daniel C
Hi Daniel, I’m not aware of any issues with PHP 8.1 and the S3 add-on. Could you please send me an email at support@proxibolt.com and include some more info about your setup?
Thanks in advance!
We have a problem , the files are uploaded first to server instead directly sending to s3 server , also single filese are uploaded directly , we want all files to uplaod directly to s3 , because of the files are directly uploaded its consuming 2 times the bandwidt of my hosted server and also additional usage in s3
Hi, It’s not possible to directly upload the file to your S3 bucket because:
1. To achieve this you would need to open up your S3 bucket or use the credentials of your bucket on the client side. This would allow anyone to see the contents of your bucket. 2. Droppy needs to process files, scan them, zip them etc. A S3 bucket is not able to do these actions.
Most hosting providers only charge for outgoing bandwidth and if you’re using a server at the same hosting provider as the S3 bucket then all traffic stays inside the DC and no bandwidth is charged.
I hope this answers your question!
Hi,
I installed it and use it with wasabi. I have upload a file from 1,6GB for testing. Afer a short time it’s uploaded, than I tried the upload link and get the message it’s furthermore on uploading. OKay, because it uploads now on wasabi. But afer a few minutes I see it in bucket from wasabi, but on the downloadlink I get furthermore the message, it is on uploading.
Hi,
The process is probably stopped by your server reaching a timeout. Please check the following article https://proxibolt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/7689179760146-Upload-stuck-in-status-processing
Hello,thanks.
Everything is set in php. Now, I have tried to upload a .zip file from 1,6GB. It works without a problem. Than I upload the same folder, but not zipped. It has 2.1GB. After the 100%, I go to download link, but I can wait and wait and wait. But it’s never ending processing.
but before I have tried a folder with 600mb, and it works without problem…
Hi,
I’m sorry to hear the issues still persists. Could you please send me a message at support@proxibolt.com including a screenshot of your system page in your admin panel. Also try enabling debug mode on your system page and upload a new file again, this will probably output some log items. Could you please send those over aswell?
Thanks in advance!

Please will the s3 add-on work with contabo s3 object storage?
Hi,
Yes, you’re able to connect the add-on to Contabo. The contabo S3 object storage ( https://contabo.com/en/object-storage/ ) supports the S3 API.
If you need any help setting it up then please feel free to send me an email at support@proxibolt.com
are the script in full and ready to setup and upload file to aws s3 OR just a Plugin ??
Hi,
This is an add-on for https://codecanyon.net/item/droppy-online-file-sharing/10575317 so you’ll have to purchase both and then you’re able to connect your setup to S3.
The wasabi plugin is not working as of today, can you post an urgent fix update?
I reinstalled the system, the problem was fixed, there was no problem with the plugin.
Hi, Great to hear you were able to figure it out!
DELETED: comment was posted in plugin section instead of main product.

Does this use presigned URLs?
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in Droppy. Download URLs in S3 are signed for every download request, so they are unique for every download.
I hope this answers your question!
We encounter this error on some uploads using the wasabi cloud plugin. After the ”/temp” folder, the files remain in the ”/uploads” directory without being loaded into the bucket.

Hi,
I’m sorry to hear your Wasabi setup isn’t working for you. Could you please send me an email at support@proxibolt.com and include a screenshot or the contents of your settings.json file (you may leave out the secret keys).
Thanks in advance!
I understand that the plugin stores data on the local server first, and then zips it to S3, then removes it from the local server. Once files are moved to S3 are they actually downloaded directly from S3 when a user attempts to grab a file. right? What happens is the user upload an zip file? They will pass thru directly to the S3 bucket or will they be re-zipped on the local server and pushed to cloud storage?
Hi,
If a single file is uploaded then the file gets pushed to the S3 bucket and is also directly downloaded from there. If multiple files are being uploaded then the web server will first zip the files and then push the zipped file to the S3 bucket, the zip file is then directly downloaded from the S3 bucket when someone downloads the file.
I hope this answers your questions.
When you say ‘gets pushed to the S3 bucket’ that mean the local server will be upload the file to the S3 bucket or will pass thru directly to the S3 without the local server acting as ‘middleman’?
Hi, The local server/webserver needs to handle as a middleman because it needs to process the files first (getting file details and zipping) and then uploads the files to your bucket and remove them locally. Downloads are directly coming from the bucket.
I hope this answers your questions.
I get it now. Thanks.-
