Also does our coin need to be public on panacakeswap before it can be offered as staking?

Staking works only for the one network at time, so rewards from the different network aren’t possible. You cannot stake NFTs. You do not need to public your token anywhere for staking.

you cannot. But in general you can modify the contract, deploy it and put a contract address to the settings (but you have to do it carefully, we do not take responsibility for changes =))
