Thank you working perfect but can allow upload more 1 photo
Hello, are you still active with this plugin? I want to buy.
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out, yes the plugin is still active, it only works on native WP Comments for WP Posts as item description and live demo page.
can this work with BuddyPress, bbPress and LifterLMS?
Unfortunately nope, just native WordPress comment as per item description and live demo page.
Just bought and installed, problem with AMP: AMP does not allow the use of JS <script> tags unless they are for loading AMP components, which are added automatically by the AMP plugin. For any page to be served as AMP, all invalid script tags must be removed from the page. Instead of custom or third-party JS, please consider using AMP components and functionality such as amp-bind and actions and events (as opposed to JS event handler attributes like onclick). Some custom JS can be added if encapsulated in the amp-script. Learn more about how AMP works.
If all invalid markup is “removed” the page will be served as AMP. However, the impact that the removal has on the page must be assessed to determine if the result is acceptable. If any invalid markup is “kept” then the page will not be served as AMP.
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out, this plugin is not compatible with AMP, featured are listed in the item description page and live demo page. In addition, AMP is going to be fully deprecated by Google, you can perform a Google search, here’s a reference link as well here and Wiki link here.
“Starting in 2021, support for AMP is being discontinued in some apps. In November, Twitter updated its developer guidelines to say that “We’re in the process of discontinuing support for this feature”; the Twitter mobile apps for Android and iOS simply load the non-AMP versions of webpages. In April 2021, Google removed AMP as an SEO criterion in favor of page loading speed and other “page experience” metrics. In search results, the Top Stories list will no longer be restricted to AMP pages, and AMP pages are no longer be distinguished by an icon”

Does this work with Thrive Comments?
Looks like that’s a no. So, if you can help me figure out how to get it to work with Thrive Comments I’ll keep it but otherwise I’ll need a refund, sorry
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, the plugin is compatible with all WP theme as long as the theme is using native WordPress comment. As for Thrive comments, if this is another plugin, you may need to check with the plugin provider if they’re using native WP comment. For refund case, you can request it via http://support.envato.com
Is it working with Classipress theme?
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, it should be working with all WP theme as long as the comment part is using native WordPress comment.
I would like to switch to your Comment Images plugin from the really old one built by Tom McFarlin. But if I turn off the old plugin, all the previously uploaded images no longer show up on the front end. Do you know of a way around this problem so I could use your plugin instead of the old Comment Images plugin?
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, our plugin structure might not be the same as other third party plugin, therefore the images might not be showing, however you may request our devs team to have a look if there’s a way they can integrate it, there might be a minor fee for them to check, you can contact them via the profile page here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden and provide below details
1) url of website
2) temporary WP admin access
3) temporary FTP access
4) Plugin name and folder of the old comment plugin wish to be integrated
hi, a pre sales question, can you add a comment form wherever you want via shortcode?
Hi there,

Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, we’ve tested it seems to be working in the latest version of WP. It could be theme or plugin conflict, if you can provide below details via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden our tech team might be able to assist you
1) URL of page with issue
2) temporary WP admin access
3) temporary FTP access
It,s posible to upload more then 1 photo in same comment? Thanks
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, it’s possible only to upload a single image as per live demo page.
Based on Codecanyon support policy here, the off-the-shelf product features come as it is as per item description and live preview page, customization is not part of the support scope, however can be requested to our devs team via the contact form here if needed.
Is this plugin still actively supported? I stumbled across this in my Envato Elements account (wasn’t really looking to add this functionality) and thought it would be neat for customers to post photos using our products. After installing, the camera icon is transposed over the user name/login element rather than near the post button and when clicking it immediately a file upload box appears to select a local file and doesn’t offer options anything like shown in the plugin screenshots. That in itself isn’t a deal breaker but if the icon is appearing on top of other elements that is. FYI, I’m using Flatsome theme.
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, this product is supported if you purchased the item and support via Envato Marketplace by providing your purchase/support code via the contact form here. Take note, that items downloaded via Envato Elements is not supported, based on Envato Elements support policy here. The camera icon issue could be conflict with WP theme or other plugin which is best to get our support team to open a ticket for them to inspect closer if needed.
Hi there, before purchasing – please can you confirm whether or not it’s possible to add custom fields which then are displayed under the comment text? If so, how can this be done? Thank you
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, there is no custom fields, the product features comes as it as per live preview and item page description. For special request, you can request our devs team via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden as customization
Hello, I am just curious if this will fit on my needs… 1. I am looking for a plugin where in I can create separate multiple forms for my main website and groups. 2. For example.. I am creating a form where they can submit a prayer request which will then be sent to the admin and on the 3. backend the admin can approve the prayer request and automatically post their prayer request in our prayer wall page and 4. once post if also there’s a way we can add social media icon to either someone will share the post to their sm sites.. at the backend we can enable or disable this function. 5. also can download csv or pdf reports of the sent prayers
it’s basically like a comment function but different way with short codes…
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, the off-the-shelf product features are only available as per item page. If you have a special requirement, you can forward your detail via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden and our devs team will be able to assist you.
Hi highwarden,
This is a pre-sales questions, Cool comment plugin btw,
If this compatible with buddypress, If the site members made comments and upload photos, would it show their buddypress login profile photo, and / or able to click to their profile?
Where their uploaded photo will stored at (Directory)?
What about animation.gif, (like the moving animation types smiley face, weaving bye (Not just plan png) will you be having this feature sometime soon?
Thanks for advise before buy,
Also, I saw other plugins of yours, it say Add-On…
Is this Discussion on WP Comment Images and Videos also an Add-On as well?
I don’t want to end-up buying this plugin and have to buy the MAIN plugin in order to use it.
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry and great feedback, yes it will show your buddypress profile photo as buddypress profile ties to WordPress user profile which will be shown at the comment.
As for animated gif, this will be in the development plan on the near future.
This plugin is not an add-on and can work on it’s own.
Nice and sounds all good. but I have one last question tho?
In general speaking, it will be a hassle if have to fill in the name and email box every time for 100 comments photos.
since is BP compatible for the avatar and links, will it also auto-filled for the name and email box from their buddypress login as well?
Please advise before buy, thanks
Hi there,
You’re welcome, that depends on BuddyPress plugin if there’s a setting to allow autofill for WordPress comments.
Oh ok, nice!
I guessed it will do the auto-fill then, Ya, when I thinking about it, ya, I kinda of by-passed it, the contact-us form, etc input forms that required name , email was fine before, but now is no longer working?
I will have to find out the issue…Once it’s fixed, it will be good on both ends, I be back for your plugin.
Thanks,
You’re welcome, sure no worries.
Hi there, quick pre-sale question… what happens to the videos and photos if this plugin is removed in the future? Are the photos wrapped in a shortcode? Or does it use regular HTML tags? Thank you.
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, the photos will be tied to a comment, if you remove the comment the photo linked to the comment will be deleted. The video is using oEmbed which automatically display video from YouTube, Vimeo, etc. If you remove the plugin the photos/videos will still be viewable.
Perfect! Thank you for the detailed reply!
Disappointing… tested by uploading a picture to a comment. Then uninstalled the plugin, the picture disappeared from the comment and was not viewable. In fact, when going to the edit page of the comment, the picture was not there either.
Hi there,
Yes, apologize we may have misunderstood your question earlier. If you disable the plugin it will hide all the pictures and videos, if you enable it back the pictures and videos will be displayed again. This is how Wordpress Plugin system works (when the plugin is disable the function of the plugin is not being called from code). If this feature is not what you need from the plugin, you can request for refund at http://support.envato.com
Hi, Can you tell me where the image uploads are stored please?
Secondly, I see that several people have requested adding multiple image uploads, is this still being considered for future development?
Thanks
Hi there,
Thank you for your inquiry, the images are stored in wp-content/wpcomment-iv folder, if you wish to change the folder, you can refer to this article here http://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/how-to-change-the-folder-of-uploaded-images/
Yes, the multiple images upload feature is still being considered for future development.
