The app is built on codeigniter and to create new custom pages you will have to write codes in controller for that specific view and also will have to make a new view file and the whole system is a MVC. how can i assign multiple clients to a project?
In a single project, single client is related, we assume. So it isn’t possible to add multiple clients in a project.
1) How can I edit permissions so a role can view assigned projects, but is not able to edit?
2) For the project document section, I would like to allow for assigned users the ability to upload documents (e.g. mark it in red), but make it so an admin must approve the document (e.g. mark it in green).
When a staff is given project permission, he can update the project status, it is due to project completion percentage update necessity. But prohibitting edit by a staff will need some custom coding in backend. Same for number 2, the document uploading approval also need some change in backend code with db structure change to implement them.
Sorry if this has been answered, but I can’t see where I can assign a specific task to a staff member. Help?
Hi, you can create task within a project and that task will be seen by the staff who are assigned to the project. Let us know how we can help you more.
I’m looking for a way to assign a task to a single person AND to be able to assign a task to multiple people (in other words, some tasks don’t need to be seen by the whole team).

Hi, thanks for your comment. The email configuration is given in application/models/email_model.php file, you can setup the email ocnfiguration there for your own web hosting.

How can I assign tasks to staff? In some cases I may want to assign multiple staff to the same task.
You can create tasks in any project, and can mention assign staffs name there. So it can be possible by doing a shortcut to mention the name of that staff along with task name. Did you used the script in your server already ? or planning to use it ? let us know, how can we assist you more. thanks
So I guess the answer is NO. You can’t assign tasks to Staff – mention name in task doesnt do it. I want to assign A,B,C (staff) to Project X. Assign Task X1 to A Assign Task X2 to B,C Assign Task Xn to B.
By assigning tasks to Staff they know what they should be working on and would be responsible for specifying the %completion.
If you do not have this feature, are you planning to include it. To me its fundamental.

Hi, thank you very much. Project categories are to define which projects are of what types. Tasks are the part of projects. Staffs can be assigned for projects. Project category doesn’t need any task. They are just name of category. Hope you are now clear.

Hai I like the CRM but some features are not working 1. Paypal payment option in invoice not working 2. Reporting graphs for projects in dashboard and report page are not working I tried creating an invoice and marking it as paid but there are no graphs on report and no paypal payment even after changing the paypal payment setting in my account

Also the timer in the project is not working Timer, stopped and started it and got a random huge number. -85454 Hours, -5127268 Minutes, -40 Seconds Total Spent . I have only spent about a few hours but its shows like this
Did you setup your paypal email properly from system settings ? it should have worked if every settings are given correctly. Report charts graph comes from payment data. So whenever client pay via paypal or you take manually payment of an unpaid invoice with bank cheque / cash / any other method, it will be saved as payment history, and come to report chart / graph. Only marking paid won’t make any payment history. Regarding the timer function, pls give us a temporary access to your admin panel. we will check the issue and give you solution, how to use it. Taking a manual payment has now produced a graph but it does not mark it as paid when i have taken a manual payment ? And The timer problem exists on your demo installation itself you can check that out. I just checked it on your demo it still exists. And for the paypal i have setup correctly.
