Can I make each users directory private and require a password to access that directory?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Droppy. Such functionality is not available in Droppy. You can protect each transfer with a different password, but it’s not possible to do this on directory level.

Hi proxy, Shall i use this plugin only for premium subscribers , and let the free user files to be stored in the server it self rather than all the uploads storing in S3..??

Hi,

Once the S3 addon is installed it will be used to store all files. It’s not possible use both storage locations at the same time. So it’s not possible to store files on s3 for premium users and locally for free users.

I am unable to connect to my Amazon S3 account through the addon. Additionally, whenever I try to upload files, I receive an error message stating that the internet is down or the server is unreachable.

I have checked my internet connection, and it is working fine. It seems the problem might be with the addon configuration or integration.

Minio requires different configs depending on the setup. Could you maybe share me the settings you’ve tried and send it over to support@proxibolt.com so I can take a look.

Also, makes sure you’ve tried setting path_style to true in the settings. Most of the time minio uses the path_style feature.

Thank you for your interest! You can connect Droppy to Backblaze B2 using the S3 addon. You can specify a bucket where all uploads will be uploaded to.

Please create a ticket at support.proxibolt.com and include some more info about your config and issue. Also make sure to include any debug logs. You can enable debug mode on your system page in your admin panel, then after doing a test upload download the droppy.log file from the system page and include it in your ticket.

The S3 add-on will be able to connect to Google Cloud Storage ( https://cloud.google.com/storage ). Connecting to Google Drive is not possible at this time.

I just downloaded the version from codecanyon and the views folder located in the application folder seems to be in place. Maybe try re-downloading the zip file from codecanyon and check again. Also note that the views folder is not related to the s3 add-on.

Thank you for your interest in Droppy! Yes, the provider you mentioned uses the S3 protocol that Droppy is able to communicate with. You should use the url https://hn.ss.bfcplatform.vn/ as endpoint value in your config. As region value you should use “HN1”.

Storing files in Google Drive is currently not supported. You can use Google Cloud Storage using the S3 add-on.

How can I share Amazon AWS url once uploaded?

Hi,

I’m afraid I do not fully understand the question. The files are stored in your S3 bucket, Droppy will generate a unique download URL from the bucket when a download is made using the Droppy frontend. If you want to share a file by URL you can simply share the Droppy download URL and the file will be downloaded from the bucket when the user presses “Download”.
